Franchise Information
Tin Star is seeking franchises interested in developing at least three to five Tin Star restaurants.
As a franchisee, you should possess:
- A minimum net worth of $1 million and liquid assets of $250,000
- Multi-unit restaurant experience - in or near desired market
- Minimum of 5-7 years restaurant experience in a leadership role
- Resources to develop a minimum of three to five units
- Proven commitment to Guest service and quality food
Tin Star franchisees sign two agreements:
- Area Development Agreement. The Area Development Agreement grants development rights for a specific number of restaurants over a particular period of time and in a territory agreed upon by Tin Star and the area developer.
- Franchise Agreement. A separate Franchise Agreement is signed for each restaurant. This agreement provides a 10-year right to operate as a Tin Star restaurant, and contains all terms and conditions pertaining to the operation of the restaurant.
Franchise/Development fee:
An area development fee equal to $10,000 multiplied by the number of restaurants to be developed will be paid at the time the Area Development Agreement is signed. The area development fee will be credited against the initial franchise fee due under each Franchise Agreement at the time the Franchise Agreement is signed in increments of $10,000.
Total per unit fee:
$25,000 for the first restaurant
$20,000 for subsequent restaurants
Area Development fees are payable upon signing of the Area Development Agreement, with Franchise Fee(s) payable as each Franchise Agreement is signed per restaurant.
Advertising and Marketing
Beginning with the grand opening of the restaurant, Tin Star will provide assistance with a set of guidelines for advertising and implementation of marketing activities and promotions.
Royalty fee: 5% of gross sales or $500 per week, whichever is greater
Marketing fee: Up to 3% of gross sales (allocated between contributions to the SYSTEM AD FUND and expenditures for local advertising.)
